Started this ages ago and Ive been slowly chipping away at it for a good while. I wanted to make a complex (strong silhouette, layering, variety of mats, hair, etc) semi modular character with a tighter tri count than what we're used to seeing these days for a modern production.
I settled on 30k as my limit and came in at 29,997 for the heaviest variant, so pretty happy with things overall. Apart of the same world as another character I made a while back. I was a little indulgent and used five 2k texture sets, but in all honesty I could size them all down to 1k and in some cased 512 and it would still hold up in 3rd person perspective.
"'I don't regret what my brother did, he did what he had to. We all knew what was coming after that after his crimes, it was only a matter of time before he was judged. But I was there, you know, I watched when the Warden put that hand on him, I was there when he was... And I was there when they left, to weep over the pile of ash left behind where my brother once stood.'
-Mya, sister of a murder judged by a Warden of Atan
The Acolytes of Atan serve one purpose in the cities of the continent where their orders have been established; The Law and Judgement.
The Priests and Clerics make up a sizeable portion of the order, but the most respected by the people and feared by the underworld are the elite and most dedicated at the top; The Wardens of Atan. And with them their two gifts granted by the fragment of the Eternal from which the order takes its name. Atan. Their eyes, see your crimes and their right hand grants judgment on them."
