Zea - NPR Character Study

Had two weeks to put an anime style NPR bust together and I decided to make a whole character to go with it. All shots except for the toolbag viewer file at the end are in Unreal Engine 5. Was a really good challenge, honestly didn't know if I could pull something in this style off but I'm pretty happy with the results.
I ended up having to do a ton of research into how Arc System Works pulled off Guilty Gear Xrd and was able to figure out how to get a similar sort of look.

Tri Count is 54,548 but in order to get the outline I did the ol dupe the geo and invert trick so the final count is twice that.
Texture Res is one 1024x1024

I set up the material to mimic various anime lighting setups, controlled by checkbox in material, mainly ambient lighting (no highlights), lit (single highlight color), and one that was a colored highlight

Custom normals were used to ensure proper anime style lighting and shading

The threshold for shadows can be controlled in material

Due to the customs normals it still looks pretty striking and graphic in toolbag without additional work

The material was actually pretty straightforward one I wrapped my head around a few things. I attempted a rim light as well but ultimately couldn't get it to behave, so I disabled it in the material.

Texture was veeeeery simple and could have been 512 honestly
